Have a quick question? If you're looking for a thorough email response to a straight-forward question, this is for you. One additional follow-up email is included if needed and I generally reserve up to one hour of time for my responses to mini-consultation clients. Examples of Mini Consultation Questions: -My child is a late talker. What can I do at home to help him talk? -How can I interact with my child to promote her next milestones? -Do you have any tips for helping my child say more words? -We are on the waitlist for local speech therapy, do you have suggestions for what I can do while we wait? -I'm interested in introducing sign language. How do I start? I will send you an initial e-mail with a short questionnaire that will help me understand your concern or challenge. Once I hear back from you, your e-mail will be answered in 3-5 business days. While I can't offer Speech Therapy services by email, I can help you problem solve using my professional expertise, my extensive resources and my experiences as a fellow parent. My response will include written information, links to relevant websites, blogs or articles, and video explanations/examples if necessary. In the event that I don’t feel I can adequately answer your question, I’ll let you know, refund your purchase, and point you in the direction of a better resource when possible. Once questions are answered, no refunds are available. If you feel you need additional support or wish to ask more questions, we can discuss further. I am a licensed Speech Language Pathologist providing parent support and resources. Email consultation is NOT individualized medical advice or Speech Therapy. Email consultations are not to replace individualized medical advice from your child’s physician or skilled therapy evaluation or treatment. In the event that your question raises a red flag, I will recommend that you pursue individualized therapy and if a United States resident, help you locate services available in your area.
